Our brief was to create a fun, playful and educational aquarium with learning spaces for kids and young adults. The aim was for visitors to be able to learn about the Marine and fresh water environment in a fun and entertaining atmosphere. The purpose of the MDC is to create an awareness of the issues concerning Victorian fisheries, recreational fishing and the marine and freshwater environment. It provides education and eco-tourism services that aim to do that. We worked with Lyons Architects. The interior design for this project required specialised joinery and signage.
